This Month: The Ultimate Sex Change Operations

It happens every year. As soon as the snow melts and one can remember again what it felt like when one does not have to wear four layers just to feel almost warm, one starts to dream about new skirts. This year's skirt fever was easily cured: In stead of setting off on a desperate shopping mission and spending all the hard-earned dollars, Eva decided to take a look at her wardrobe. And voilà! so many trousers were desperate to become something more exciting, and as you can see in the before and after shots, the operations were carried out most successfully.

Check out in detail the transformation of the courduroys
, the khakis, the jeans and the tweeds.

The Queen of Sandbox -skirt

The boring pair of chocolate brown corduroy trousers sooooo wanted to be something else. And it did have the potential. The legs were cut diagonally to create more interesting frills. The used-to-be-side-seams add detail to hemline and the chocolate brown corduroy just loves its new turquoise embroidery stitching.
Yo mama is ready for some serious sandbox action!

The ¡Hasta la Victoria Siempre! -skirt

After years of faithful service the simple wide-legged khakis were ready for revolution. The hemline was created using the two legs horizontally. Add some well-placed pleats, apply few roughly-cut stars stitched on with Cuban red thread and Eva is ready for barricades!
To underline what this is all about the skirt's name was embroidered on a strategic place.
¡Viva la revolución!
